Philosophy

     Watercolor painting can be very rewarding and spontaneous. "Happy accidents" can occur when the paint meets water; it is the only medium that makes me want to express myself.

     I am fascinated by the way the paint fuses with the water, and then works with the paper to give interesting and surprising results. Not every painting works but that’s the nature of watercolor painting, it keeps me coming back for more.

     I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoyed painting them.
